A process cost model uses formulas to visualize the cause-effect chain for logistics services. Logistics costs are assigned to specific market services across all stages of the supply chain.

Visibility of all relevant data and indicators across the entire supply chain in a single standardized data model sets the stage for price-to-performance comparisons and customizable, indicator-based analyses.

The key to all this: delivery interval optimization. Mathematical methods are used to optimize pickups or delivery intervals, such as weekly, daily, or customized frequencies. This makes it possible to minimize both transport costs and safety stock in distribution for inbound and outbound alike.
